Blastococcus jejuensis Lee 2006, sp. nov.
Type strain (see also StrainInfo.net): strain KST3-10 = JCM 15614 = KCCM 42251 = NRRL B-24440.

Etymology: N.L. masc. adj. jejuensis, of or belonging to Jeju, Republic of Korea, the site from which the type strain was isolated.

2 In the paper by Urzì et al. 2004, the 16S rRNA gene sequence of the type strain BC444 is given as AJ316571. According to the "NCBI Entrez Nucleotide", AJ316571 is the sequence of the strain BC448. The correct sequence number of the type strain BC444 should be AJ296061, but it is a short sequence (437 nucleotides).
