Byssovorax Reichenbach 2006, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Byssovorax cruenta (ex Thaxter 1897) Reichenbach 2006.
Etymology: Gr. n. byssos, cotton, fine linen (for cellulose); L. adj. vorax, voracious, devouring; N.L. fem. n. Byssovorax, devourer of cellulose.
