Les taxons bactériens d'intérêt vétérinaire décrits en 2008
Au cours de l'année 2008, 740 nouveaux taxons ou nouvelles combinaisons ont été validement publiés dans International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology et le nombre total des modifications (nouveaux taxons, nouvelles combinaisons, Candidatus, synonymies, amendements, modifications orthographiques...) atteint 853 (voir les fichiers Number of published names et Nomenclatural changes validly published (or published) in the 2008 issues of the IJSEM in List of Procaryotic Names with Standing in Nomenclature).
Les changements pouvant présenter un intérêt en médecine et/ou en biologie vétérinaires sont listés ci-dessous.
