Note: Zhang et al. 2001 propose to transfer ¤ Excellospora viridilutea Agre and Guzeva 1975 (Approved Lists 1980), the type species of the genus Excellospora, to the genus ¤ Actinomadura as ¤ Actinomadura viridilutea (Agre and Guzeva 1975) Zhang et al. 2001, comb. nov. According to Rule 37a, bacteriologists adhering to this proposal must change the name Excellospora to ¤ Actinomadura.
