Gramella Nedashkovskaya et al. 2005, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Gramella echinicola Nedashkovskaya et al. 2005.
Etymology: N.L. fem. dim. n. Gramella, named in honour of the famous Danish pharmacologist and pathologist, Hans Christian Gram (1853-1938), who proposed the differentiating staining of bacteria.
