4 According to Boondaeng et al. 2009, ¤ Microbispora amethystogenes Nonomura and Ohara 1960 (Approved Lists 1980) is not a later synonym of Microbispora rosea subsp. rosea (Nonomura and Ohara 1957) Miyadoh et al. 1991 (Approved Lists 1980). A combination of genotypic and phenotypic data supports the classification of ¤ Microbispora amethystogenes as a separate species.
