Thermosporotrichaceae Yabe et al. 2010, fam. nov.
Type genus: ¤ Thermosporothrix Yabe et al. 2010.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Thermosporothrix -trichos, type genus of the family; suff. -aceae, ending to denote a family; N.L. fem. pl. n. Thermosporotrichaceae, the family of the genus Thermosporothrix.
