Etymology: L. masc. n. inquilinus, an inhabitant of a place that is not its own, a sojourner.

Etymology: N.L. n. ginsengum, ginseng; L. n. solum, soil; N.L. gen. n. ginsengisoli, of soil of a ginseng field, the source of the type strain.
