Etymology: Gr. adj. kibdelos, false, ambiguous; N.L. n. sporangium [from Gr. n. spora, a seed and in biology a spore, and Gr. n. angeion (Latin transliteration angium), vessel], sporangium; N.L. neut. n. Kibdelosporangium, false or ambiguous sporangium.
