Type species: ¤ Krasilnikovia cinnamomea corrig. Ara and Kudo 2007.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Krasilnikovia, referring to N. A. Krasil'nikov, a Russian actinomycetologist who contributed to the taxonomy of the family Micromonosporaceae.
