Lacticigenium Iino et al. 2009, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Lacticigenium naphtae Iino et al. 2009.
Etymology: N.L. n. acidum lacticum, lactic acid; N.L. neut. suff. -genium (from Gr. v. gennao, to produce), that which produces; N.L. neut. n. Lacticigenium, a bacterium that produces lactic acid.
