Oscillochloridaceae Keppen et al. 2000, fam. nov.
Type genus: ¤ Oscillochloris Gorlenko and Pivovarova 1989.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Oscillochloris, type genus of the family; suff. -aceae, ending to denote a family; N.L. fem. pl. n. Oscillochloridaceae, the Oscillochloris family.
