Type species: ¤ Sandarakinotalea sediminis Khan et al. 2006.
Etymology: Gr. adj. sandarakinos -e -on, of orange colour; L. fem. n. talea, a slender staff, a rod; N.L. fem. n. Sandarakinotalea, an orange-coloured rod.
