Classification (Warning: see also the file "Classification of prokaryotes: Introduction").

Schineria Tóth et al. 2001, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Schineria larvae Tóth et al. 2001.
Etymology: N.L. fem. n. Schineria, named after Schiner who first described the fly Wohlfahrtia magnifica in 1862.
Reference: TÓTH (E.), KOVÁCS (G.), SCHUMANN (P.), KOVÁCS (A.L.), STEINER (U.), HALBRITTER (A.) and MÁRIALIGETI (K.): Schineria larvae gen. nov., sp. nov., isolated from the 1st and 2nd larval stages of Wohlfahrtia magnifica (Diptera: Sarcophagidae). Int. J. Syst. Evol. Microbiol. 2001, 51, 401-407.

Notes:
1 Schineria is a Neo Latin noun in the nominative case not a Neo Latin noun in the genitive case as cited by Tóth et al. 2001.
2 Schineria Tóth et al. 2001 is illegitimate because of precedence of the genus Schineria Rondani 1857 (Insecta, Tachinidae, Diptera). See, Principle 2, and Rule 51b(4).

---> ¤ Ignatzschineria Tóth et al. 2007, gen. nov.

Note: The name Schineria Tóth et al. 2001 is illegitimate because of precedence of the genus Schineria Rondani 1857 (Insecta, Tachinidae, Diptera) [Principle 2, Rule 51b(4)]. Consequently, a new genus designation ¤ Ignatzschineria has been proposed by Tóth et al. 2007.

Schineria larvae Tóth et al. 2001, sp. nov. (Type species of the genus).
Type strain (see also StrainInfo.net): strain L1/68 = CIP 107108 = DSM 13226 = NCAIM B01938.
GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ accession number for the 16S rRNA gene sequence of the type strain: AJ252143.
Etymology: L. n. larva, a ghost, spectre and, in biology, a larva; L. gen. n. larvae, of a larva; the type strain was isolated from maggots of Wohlfahrtia magnifica.

Note: Schineria larvae Tóth et al. 2001 is illegitimate because it is placed in an illegitimate genus (see: ¤ Schineria).
